The call list was wrong again, so now your unit clerk is frantically paging and calling around to try and figure out who the correct on call doc is. The cardiologist has requested a copy of the ECG, so your unit clerk is also working on faxing it over from the ED. Is it working? Has it sent? Maybe she should try email. But she still doesn't know if the cardiologist on call is on his way in! SO MUCH CHAOS (all the while your poor patient is losing precious tissue because of wasted time).

Who We Are

Pulsara is a Bozeman-based care coordination company focused on the acute setting of healthcare. The idea for the company came about at a dinner party when a group of physicians, fed up with the pitfalls of their current acute care protocols, asked “How can we improve patient care in our facilities? How can we help our healthcare system pursue value based healthcare – providing improved quality of care at a lower cost?”

This challenge turned into a quest to improve telecommunications access services for patients, healthcare providers, and healthcare systems in acute care coordination. The group combined their years of personal experience with the wisdom from team members with all departments involved with the delivery of critical care – from EMS to definitive treatment.
